What I do...
I use your images, photo or digital, to draw a near photo realistic rendering of your pet in "Shades of Grey" graphite. (lead pencil) I use a variety of pencils to achieve wonderful realisim in every drawing I do. I use high quality acid free paper so your drawing will not fade or yellow over time.
What I need...
All I need from you are images of your pet. I am able to draw just about any image you can send me. I do prefer to pick the pose and take the picture exactly as you want it, but I can work around many issues. I do ask that you give at least one crisp clear image of you pets face so I can add as much detail as possible. It's important to me to capture the details. BUT if you can't get a good clear picture, I can probably work around it.

What You Get...
I do most drawings on 11" x 14" paper. That will give you a finished image of about 8" X 10" (approx) It also leaves room for matting.
I only do head shots with a bit of neck showing. Please keep that in mind. Pose...I can do anything you send me.

What it Costs
Generally, a 11" X 14" drawing, single subject is $45. This is just the drawing, no mat, no frame. I do seal the drawing to help with smudging. I do suggest getting it covered as quickly as possible. Graphite smudged easily and even a tiny bit of water will warp the paper.
If you would like to add a second subject to the drawing, I ask an additional $25.

Can I Ship it to You?
You bet! I ship stuff all over the USA! Never had a postal incident!
About the Subject...
I can and will draw just about any animal/image you can send me. I do reserve the right to tell you I can't/won't draw something for any reason. Some images just won't work! But I am skilled enough to make something out of just about anything. I will probably ask for additional images! Please try to send me clear images if you can. Good close-ups help too! Again, I can make a lot of things work thou. I do prefer you pick the pose, but I'd be happy to help there too. I may guide you toward or away from something I think would affect the drawing.
If you are having two subjects in the drawing, please try to get an image of them together so I don't draw them out of scale.
Yes, I can draw your cat, dog, horse, bird and a few other critters! If I can't, I'll let you know!
And yes, I would be happy to draw a pet who has passed away. I can work with what photos you have.

How Long Does It Take...
Well, that depends on how many commissions I have going and on the subject. As soon as I start working on your drawing, it goes pretty fast and I am usually done in 3 or 4 days. If I'm not busy, you could order on Monday and possibly have the drawing by the weekend!
Updates...
I am happy to share with you digital updates via email and Facebook. I often post WIP (work in progress) photos on Facebook so my friends and family know what I am working on. (no names given-not even the pets) Please feel free to friend request me on Facebook! I have a FB business page, but I just use it for photo storage so I can work away from my studio.
Deposit and Payment...
Yes. I do require a deposit. And I do accept PayPal
